In 2009, Ms. Kaplina became in-house counsel for a start-up computer software enterprise, where she was in charge of all legal operations, including contract drafting, negotiations, corporate governance, tax matters, and litigation. Ms. Kaplina currently concentrates on commercial and real estate litigation, business formation, corporate and tax law. Ms. Kaplina has represented a major Chicago developer and management company in hundreds of eviction and litigation matters in Cook County, Illinois.
