Bankruptcy and Reorganization

UPDATE on VC Law Group operations during COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak:  During these uncertain times we want to assure current and prospective clients that we remain open and will be able to move forward with your case. All work will be done remotely for everyone’s safety and we will be available by telephone, email or video conference.  We are here to serve you so feel free to reach out if we can help you in any way.  Please stay safe.  We are in this together and we will get through this together.

Our attorneys have extensive bankruptcy experience in all chapters of consumer as well as corporate bankruptcy.  We are familiar with each step along the way and routinely represent both debtors and creditors in the Bankruptcy Court.  Our qualified bankruptcy attorneys provide a free consultation to help you decide whether filing bankruptcy is the right decision for you.

Chapters 7 and 13 Consumer Bankruptcy

Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. We have represented numerous consumers in chapters 7 and 13 bankruptcy cases throughout our legal careers and in multiple jurisdictions across the country.  Our attorneys stay in contact with our consumer bankruptcy clients every step of the way, beginning with a first consultation.  We personally prepare your petition and represent you at 341(a) meetings and hearings before the Bankruptcy Court.

Chapter 11 Corporate Reorganization.

In addition to representing individual consumers in bankruptcy, we have helped numerous small businesses and corporations restructure their debts through the chapter 11 bankruptcy and reorganization process.  We have been involved in many cases confirmed by Bankruptcy Courts across the country and know how to guide you through the entire process.  We provide excellent representation at affordable rates as we represent your small business or company in attempting to restructure its obligations before the Bankruptcy Court.

Creditor Representation.

Our experience in bankruptcy does not end with representing Debtors.  We also represent creditors in a variety of ways in the bankruptcy process.  We represent creditors in adversary suits, at 341(a) hearings, at 2004 examinations, by filing motions for relief from stay, at hearings on claim objections and by filing proofs of claims.
